We’re looking to upgrade our storage setup at the new facility and I’ve been tasked with finding those large pallet box style crates that sit directly on forklift bases, the kind you can just drop right into the warehouse racking without needing separate pallets. I’ve seen them used in some of the bigger logistics operations around Jebel Ali and they seem like a total game changer for bulk storage, but I’m having a hard time tracking down a reliable local source that doesn’t come with crazy long lead times. I came across an article about how more local manufacturers are investing in reusable logistics equipment, and it mentioned a few companies that might fit the bill. A supplier in Sharjah called Multibox came up, they apparently make pallet boxes and material handling products for various industries, and I also saw Alfa Plastic mentioned as a UAE-based manufacturer that’s been around since 2010 serving beverage and food industries with crates and pallets. There’s also Crateco in Dubai that stocks closed, ventilated, and even foldable pallet boxes with quick local delivery, and another supplier called Spillco that offers heavy-duty ventilated pallet boxes with UV-stabilized HDPE and forklift-compatible bases. The problem is I don’t have time to test out a bunch of different suppliers, so I’m hoping someone here has actually used one of these companies and can tell me who’s got the best quality and reliability for a plastic pallet boxes supplier for UAE manufacturers. I’d rather pay a bit more upfront than deal with crates that crack under weight or suppliers that take weeks to deliver.
