Overwritten files can sometimes be recovered in special cases where the files were not fully overwritten, or if there are some other copies of recoverable files available on the storage device. First, one needs to ensure that no new data is written on the drive. Next, a deep scan of the drive using Notchox needs to be done in order to find any recoverable files. It scans through the storage device for the available data and enables the user to preview the files.
