So I’ve had my Levante for about 18 months now and I’m absolutely in love with it, but I’m starting to wonder about the maintenance schedule because I’ve put nearly 30,000 kilometers on it already and I’m not sure if the brakes should be on my radar yet. I drive mostly on highways with a fair bit of stop-start in the city, and I’m not exactly gentle with the throttle if I’m being honest, so I’m guessing the pads might wear faster than average. I don’t hear any squealing or feel any vibration yet, so maybe I’m worrying about nothing, but I’d rather be proactive than wait until I’m metal on metal and damaging the rotors. I’ve been reading online about typical wear rates for these cars and it seems like a lot depends on driving style and whether you use the paddle shifters to engine brake, which I do sometimes, but I’m still not sure what to expect. I’m planning to get the car checked soon anyway because I want to stay on top of maintenance, but I’d love to hear from other owners about their experiences. I know there are specialists that focus on Maserati brake pad replacement in Dubai and they’d probably be able to tell me exactly what condition everything is in, but I’m also curious about whether the factory pads are the only option or if there are aftermarket ones that offer better performance or longer life. I don’t want to compromise on safety or performance, but if I can get more mileage out of a set of pads without spending a fortune, that would obviously be ideal. Any advice from long-term Maserati owners would be hugely appreciated because I’m still learning the ins and outs of this car and I want to make sure I’m taking care of it properly.
